Goats
Reservations & Payment
• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve an available kid or adult.
• The remaining balance is due at pickup.
• If full payment is not received by the agreed pickup date, all prior payments are forfeited.
Availability
• Dam-raised kids are typically ready for pickup between 6–8 weeks of age.
• Bottle-raised kids may be available sooner depending on age and progress.
Herd Requirement
Goats are herd animals. We strongly prefer to sell kids in pairs unless you already own compatible goats. We will not place a single goat without appropriate existing companionship.
Health & Registration
• All kids are disbudded unless naturally polled.
• All doelings are registered.
• Bucklings may be wethered depending on timing of departure.
• Dams and sires are tested for Johne’s, CL, and CAE. Test results and pedigrees are available upon request.

Miniature Donkeys
Reservations & Payment
• A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a foal until weaning.
• The remaining balance is due prior to or at pickup.
• Deposits are refundable only if an unexpected health issue arises prior to pickup.
Companionship Requirement
Donkeys are herd animals and require companionship. Buyers must have at least one other donkey or compatible equine already on the property, or purchase two donkeys together.
Handling & Socialization
Our foals are imprinted at birth and handled daily. We focus heavily on socialization, bonding, and raising confident, people-friendly donkeys.
Foals are comfortable being handled and having their feet touched; however, we do not typically provide extensive lead rope training prior to weaning. We believe continued training and bonding are best developed in their permanent homes.
Testing & Transport
• Coggins tests and health certificates, if required, are the responsibility of the buyer.
• Transportation arrangements and associated costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Veterinary & Responsibility (Applies to All Animals)
Animals are sold in as-is condition. Buyers may arrange a pre-purchase veterinary exam at our farm, at their expense, prior to pickup. If a veterinarian determines the animal to be unsound at that time, deposits will be refunded.
Once an animal leaves Sweet Dreams Acres, responsibility for illness, injury, veterinary care, and related expenses transfers to the buyer. As with any livestock, stress related to transport and relocation can occur.
