Moonlit Dreams Bentley
AKA "Ben"
Ben is a 30" brown and white spotted jack whose pedigree blends some of the best spotted and red bloodlines in the miniature donkey world. His sire, Mischief Maker of N&D’s Lonestar, comes from a line of tiny, well-balanced spotted donkeys, while his dam, Jewel of the Rockies, adds depth with strong Circle C and Stoney Acres red genetics. From the Arrow Creek and Lonestar programs to Northern Dancer and Arabella of Ass-pirin Acres, Ben’s lineage is full of proven names known for producing small, correct foals with color. He’s already passing along those traits—compact size, eye-catching markings, and a calm, kind temperament that makes his foals easy to love.

Morning Star Rhiannon
AKA "Ruby"
Ruby is a 30" dark red jennet who brings together some of the strongest red genetics in the miniature donkey world. Her sire, Red Fission of The Elms, is a compact 30 ¼" dark red jack with multiple generations of Elms breeding behind him. Her dam, Razz-Berry Beret of Allstarz, adds the influence of Ass-pirin Acres and My World programs, well known for producing deep red color and excellent conformation.
Ruby’s pedigree is packed with names like Red Fusion, Andiamo, LN Rising Son, and Comet’s Fire and Ice — all respected for their ability to pass on small size, correct structure, and rich red coats. She carries this heritage with elegance, standing square and balanced with a kind, feminine look.
Ruby consistently reflects her lineage in the foals she produces: deep red coats, moderate size, and the calm, people-friendly temperament that makes them a joy to raise. Ruby just had an adorable jack foal named Snoopy on August 10, 2025.

Lil Darlin Justa Raisin Cane
AKA "Raisin"
Raisin is a 31" black jennet carrying the influence of the N&D’s Lonestar and Arrow Creek programs. Her sire, Del Rio of N&D’s Lonestar, traces back to Jiminey Cricket and Cherokee Chief, while her dam’s side features Hudini and Delta Dawn of Arrow Creek — lines prized for producing hardy, correct foals with kind temperaments.
Raisin’s heritage shines through in her foals.
Her last baby, Blu, was a tiny, people-loving colt who quickly became a farm favorite. Looking ahead, Raisin has been paired with our spotted jack Ben for a foal expected in late summer 2026 — a cross we anticipate will bring together small size, eye-catching color, and an irresistible personality.

S&B Minis Lilacs Silva Belle
AKA "Belle"
Belle is a 29" brown/gray-dun jennet whose pedigree blends Hickory Hills, Hauenstein, and Lewis Mills bloodlines. On her sire’s side, she carries the influence of Zig N. Bock and Zig Zag of Hickory Hills — compact sires known for producing small, correct, and colorful foals. From her dam, Belle inherits the Lewis Mills and Wray’s programs, both recognized for strength, refinement, and rich dark coloring.

She recently weaned her spotted daughter TinkerBelle, a sweet and flashy jennet who has already become a farm favorite. Belle is now confirmed in foal to our herd sire Ben for spring 2026, a pairing we expect will produce a small, correct foal with both color and personality.

SFM Marybeth
AKA "Daisy"
Daisy, affectionately known as Daisy on the farm, is a 33 ½" red/gray and white spotted jennet with a sweet, easygoing temperament. She is one of the friendliest donkeys here — gentle with children, endlessly patient, and even happily dressed up as a unicorn for our daughter’s 6th birthday party. Her people-loving nature makes her a true standout among our herd.
Daisy is currently running with Copper Star’s Spartan Warrior, a 31" black roan jack carrying the blue-eye dilute gene. Spartan is sired by Hickory Hill Holy Smoke (30", blue-eye dilute with star) and out of KZ’s Homer’s Penelope (33", fully frosted white). This pairing brings together Spartan’s rare color genetics and strong conformation with Daisy’s softly spotted pattern and kind personality.

We are eagerly expecting Daisy and Spartan’s foal in late summer 2026 — a cross that should combine unique coloring, compact size, and Daisy’s trademark friendly disposition.

Junebug (formerly MoiraRose)
AKA "Junebug"
Junebug is a 37" rescue jennet who has become one of the most cherished members of Sweet Dreams Acres. Though she came to us without papers, she quickly proved that registration isn’t what makes a donkey special. With her kind eyes, steady temperament, and gentle way with children, Junebug has captured the hearts of everyone who meets her.

She is currently running with Top Hat’s Paddington “Ace,” a 34" black and white spotted woolly jack. Ace is sired by Donkette Korral Granite (29 ¾", black and white spotted woolly) and out of MGF Warm Fuzzy 533 (33 ½", dark brown woolly). He is admired for his striking woolly coat, balanced build, and strong pedigree of spotted and woolly lines.

Junebug and Ace are expecting a foal in late summer 2026. This pairing promises the potential for a colorful, woolly-coated baby with Junebug’s beloved temperament — a foal we know will be just as special as its parents.

Moonlit Dreams Ladybug
AKA "Ladybug"
Ladybug is small brown jennet with a pedigree that combines small, correct builds with strong red influence. Her sire, A Little Bit of LN, is just 27 ½" and traces back to Purdie Weldon, while her dam, Roseanna Danna of Big Woods, carries the Circle C and Canadian red lines through Corona. This balance of size and color makes Ladybug an exciting addition to our program.

Even more than her papers, Ladybug is known for her personality. She is a precious member of the farm, always first in line for the farrier or vet, and never one to miss a chance to be part of the action. Her bright, curious nature makes her a favorite of visitors and family alike.

Ladybug and our jack Ben have grown up together since weaning, true childhood sweethearts. She is now confirmed in foal to Ben for spring 2026 — a pairing that means a great deal to us personally and one that we expect will produce a foal with not only excellent type and color, but also the warm, people-loving temperament that both parents share.

JJMD Jumping Jack Butterfly
AKA "Butterfly"
Butterfly is a 35" spotted jennet whose striking coat and balanced conformation make her a standout in the pasture. Her pedigree includes the Outback, Jefferson Halls, and My World programs, a blend known for producing strong, correct, and eye-catching donkeys.

Butterfly is currently running with Copper Star’s Spartan Warrior, a 31" black roan jack carrying the blue-eye dilute gene. Spartan is sired by Hickory Hill Holy Smoke (30", blue-eye dilute with star) and out of KZ’s Homer’s Penelope (33", fully frosted white). This pairing brings together Spartan’s rare color genetics and compact build with Butterfly’s size and style.

We are expecting Butterfly and Spartan’s foal in late summer 2026 — a cross that should produce a foal with both presence and unique color.

Petunia
AKA "Petunia"
Petunia is a 31" red/gray-dun jennet registered with the American Donkey & Jackstock Registry. She is one of the sweetest and most docile donkeys on the farm, with a gentle presence that makes her a favorite among visitors and family alike.
In June 2026, Petunia welcomed her beautiful foal Blossom, a dainty little jennet already showing her mother’s calm, affectionate nature.
Looking ahead, we hope to pair Petunia with our jack Ben for a late summer 2026 foal. This cross is especially exciting, as it would combine Petunia’s quiet, loving temperament with Ben’s compact size and spotted genetics.

With her kindness and her proven ability as a brood jennet, Petunia is a treasured part of our breeding program and family.

Rosey
AKA "Rosey"
Rosey is a 30" light red jennet registered with the American Donkey & Jackstock Registry. With her warm coloring and gentle presence, she has become a cherished member of our herd and an important part of our breeding program.

She is confirmed in foal to our jack Ben for a spring 2026 baby — a pairing we are especially excited about for its potential to combine Rosey’s soft red coloring and sweet nature with Ben’s compact size and spotted genetics.

Fun fact: Rosey is also in a bonded relationship with our gelding Firefly, her steady companion and pasture mate. No matter what the future brings, Firefly will remain by Rosey’s side, making their little partnership one of the most endearing stories on the farm.

Posey
AKA "Posey"
Posey is a 34" brown/gray-dun jennet registered with the American Donkey & Jackstock Registry. She is Rosey’s inseparable best friend, the one you’ll find her side by side with whenever Rosey isn’t doting on her gelding Firefly. Together, Rosey and Posey make a charming duo, always seen grazing or “chatting” in the pasture.

Posey is confirmed in foal to our jack for a spring 2026 baby. With her sturdy frame, sweet temperament, and distinctive horse-like mane, she is a unique and treasured member of our herd. We look forward to welcoming her foal and seeing her step into motherhood alongside her best friend.

Firefly
AKA "Firefly"
Firefly is a sweet, wide-eyed gelding with an innocent charm that melts hearts. Originally purchased as a companion for our jack Ben, he quickly became so much more — a cherished member of the family and a true farm favorite. He celebrated his first birthday in December 2024 and has grown into a gentle, playful presence that brightens every corner of Sweet Dreams Acres.

While Firefly was intended to be Ben’s buddy, he wrote his own story here. He and Rosey have become a devoted pair — a couple in every sense of the word. They are almost always together, sharing hay piles, walking in step, or resting side by side. Their bond is one of the sweetest parts of life on the farm, and it adds a special layer of joy to watching our herd each day.

Firefly’s kind nature also extends to his human family and visitors, who are drawn to his approachable spirit and puppy-like affection. He’s the type who greets you at the gate, eager to be part of whatever is going on. Though he may not sire foals, Firefly leaves his mark in another way — through the happiness and companionship he brings to both people and his donkey family.
